Become A Digital Steward
The Digital Stewards program trains neighborhood leaders in the technical and community organizing skills necessary to redistribute Gigabit Internet connections and bring their communities online.
NEWCC EII increases internet access through the distribution of shared Gigabit connections in the greater North End while also training in digital literacy.
Participants will graduate with skills in:
- Wireless Engineering
- Network Design
- Basic IT Troubleshooting
- Community Technology
- Network Security
- Survey Data Analysis
Once the program is complete participants will be eligible to apply for a position to facilitate the design, construction of a wireless network within their community.
